Animal

Probably my favorite muppet (with the possible exception of the Swedish Chef). Here, have a drum solo. Cross-posted from Anthdrawlogy's Muppets week.

Who's your favorite muppet?

ANIMAL!!!

Picking a favorite muppet is like choosing your favorite child. It's just not right. But I have to say I'm partial to Beaker, and Elmo has always, ALWAYS given me the willies.

Ha! I got first comment!! (which probably doesn't make up for the fact that I've been AWOL for a while)

toss up between Animal and the Swedish Chef, but if it doesn't have to be from the muppet show, then there's also the worm from Labyrinth, and Fizgig from the Dark Crystal.

Animal rocks!

Swedish Chef. And Beaker. And Fozzy Bear. Of whom I have a Disney Vinylmation that's just adorable.

I think the one with the wild red hear is Beaker. Everything is a "Meee! Meee! Mee!"

I've always been a bit fond of the little Alien one with the long nose, sadly, I cannot remember his name. But Animal is very high up on my list, and the two old men, and the chief and his buddy, though I'm not sure if they were always a chief.

There was also a skit they did, of one of the muppets standing in a field, holding a carrot, and singing "Stand by Me." Then eating rabbits when they got close...I just don't remember which he was. But I like him too.

Like Jack, as soon as I saw that drawing I heard, "WO-MAN! WO-MAN!" And then Floyd saying, "Back, Animal! Back! Sit!"

And awesome clip. "If this chain breaks, you're going to be a sore loser."

My favorite Muppet? I'd have to include the Swedish Chef, Animal, Kermit, Rowlf, and Floyd. Plus, of course, the Pigs in Space sketches, and the one with Luke and Chewbacca, which I practically memorized on tape cassette.
