7 More Things You Never Wanted to Know

A follow-up to this post.

Cardboard people freak me out.

Most days, I sit down at the piano to plunk out the Pirates of the Caribbean theme. Also, I cannot pull out my guitar without playing "The Ballad of Serenity" at least once.

When I count things slowly, I always end up saying "two-WHOOO" like that owl from the Tootsie Roll commercial.

In 6th grade, I spent an entire church service drawing the map of Bowser's Castle from Super Mario Bros 3.

I have seen every single episode of So You Think You Can Dance.

Surf Ninjas is awesome, and you cannot convince me otherwise.

I am pathetic when I get sick. If my wife is to be believed (and she's very smart, so I do), I am so pathetic that it makes the times I wasn't sick seem even more pathetic than they were at the time. So basically, my patheticness transcends the space-time continuum.

Tell me something about you.

Ditto on 8, 12, and 13. And once I spent an entire church service crossing my toes and getting the giggles.

I think most men are pathetic when we get sick. It's in our genes.

I used to be able to play Chariots of Fire on the piano. That was a long time ago.

Awesome. I could never sit still or not laugh whilst in church when I was a child. My older sister didn't help the situation.

*Secret* - I pee a little doing the following things:
a) laughing hard
b) jumping (can't do jacks. no way.)
c) any big, sudden movements in general
d) sneezing

Thanks vagina.

Love your blog, Adam!

Just wandered over here from Authoress...love your blog - the colors, your writing voice (hope that doesn't sound freaky), and the fact you foster children from Thailand. Wow. Something about me? I am a terrible nurse maid to my husband and children when they are sick. I view it as a sign of weakness, which is probably more pathetic than being pathetic when you're sick. Happy writing!

I took my coffee machine away when we went camping on the Murray River over Easter and ran it off the generator. What a magnificent way to start the day - sitting by the fire, watching the river flow by and sipping a great brew.

I KNOW what the Ballad of Serenity IS! o.O I'm watching Firefly on Amazon and am hooked. My only beef w/ it so far is that River is annoying. Hopefully that'll change soon.
